The New Long Island Capital Alliance Website

Long Island Capital recently launched their new website. The new enhanced easy-to-navigate site has numerous benefits for LICA members. Read on to learn more about the site.

The new website has a “Members Only” area which can be entered through a login and password. And don’t worry if you forgot your password.  All you need to do is click the “Forgot Your Password?” link and your password will be sent to you via e-mail. Within this new Members Only area, you can now enter an area of the site that will allow you, the member, to manage your own profile or business listing.  You have the ability to keep your own information up to date and current. But even better is the opportunity to control the information that you want to display on your member profile.  You can include as much or as little as you choose, plus you decide what others can see. You can also add a photo of yourself or logo for your company, and share files with other members. This is all available for members of LICA to enhance the networking experience.

Another new feature of the website is the ability to search for other members. Member profiles, company and website will be accessible through a search of the member database. This will now increase your member and company visibility.  Members can also be reached through the LICA website using a safe, spam free contact form. The networking doesn't have to end when the physical meetings end. All members of LICA can continue networking online, through the website, to make new contacts and generate new opportunities. Event registration is now easier than ever for members with 2-click event registration. Registration for non-members is also easy with a short form and payment option.

On the new website you will also find out about current LICA news through links to our Twitter page, our blog, and soon we will be involved with other social media sites.

The LICA website is growing. Come visit the new Long Island Capital Alliance website and see the benefits for yourself at licapital.org.

LIFT president Ken Morrelly dies

The Board of the Long Island Capital Alliance is saddened by the untimely passing of its long time Board member, Kenneth Morrelly. Ken was a highly respected professional in the Long Island business community. His reputation as a tenacious advocate for manufacturing and technology companies is embodied in the growth of the Long Island Forum for Technology of which he was President. Unlike many others who talk the talk, Ken walked the walk. His devotion to the Long Island business community is exceeded only by his strong love for his family. He will be sorely missed. The LICA Board extends its heartfelt condolences to his wife, children and grand children. For more information visit LIBN.
